The Incremental game variant is designed to provide new players with the ability to instantly play without any major pre-game preparation. This system removes that potentially lengthy preparation phase by making the abilities of a character develop over time instead. This has the added bonus of making the game system easy for new players to acclimate themselves to it. Due to its simpler nature, however, it may not be as appealing to more advanced players.
