Character creation (incremental)
From WikiRPS
[edit] Summary
Character creation in the Incremental variant is different from many other role-playing systems. Since the character's development takes place primarily during the game, there is less work to do before the game starts. To create a character in the incremental system, all you need is as follows:
- Gestalt — Select a species/race and gender for your character from the ones available in your game setting.
- Name — Choose a name for your character based on the game setting and their gestalt.
- Starting Points — Spend your first 10 XP however you would like.
- Background — Depending on how much role-playing you intend to do (and the game's style) this may be optional.
And that's it!

[edit] Additional Notes
In some campaigns using other game systems, the GM will start the game with characters who have already increased to a level beyond where they would normally begin. It is possible to do this with the incremental variant as well. The Character Development article has further information on this process.
