[edit] Tech

Technological (tech) level is an abstraction of the technological advancement required to gain access to a particular concept or type of equipment.

[edit] Tech levels

Tech levels are based loosely on the progress of Ancient Near Eastern and European history, as shown in Table: Tech level. All dates are necessarily approximate and disputable.

[edit] Campaign tech level

Each campaign has an established tech level. This dictates (among other things) what equipment is readily available for characters to acquire. The GM should, of course, feel free to change the era of a particular item's introduction in your world.
